Friends of EMS for Maine Holds 2022 Annual Meetings at Samoset

The Friends of EMS for Maine held its annual Membership and Board meetings on November 12th at the Samoset EMS Conference in Rockport.  Eighteen dedicated folks attended the 7 AM meeting:

• Three new Board of Directors members were added to the four currently seated:
  • Ron Morin; Friends Founding Member
  • Dr. Timothy Pieh; Friends Charter Member
  • Andrea McGraw; for Friends Founding Member Northern Light Medical Transport            

•  Progress reports were provided on:
  • The Maine EMS Memorial and Education Site upgrades
  • The Maine EMS Honor Guard Program
  • The Informed Community Self-Determination (ICSD) Project
  • 2023-2025 Project plans and Maine EMS facilitation plans
  •  Current fundraising and corporate status of the organization

A Friends table was staffed by volunteers in the vendor's area throughout the conference. Attendees learned about Friends and its priorities and new members joined Friends as a result.
